the Newfoundland and Labrador Athletics Association (NLAA).

- Entry Fees and Registration Deadlines
Early Bird Fee - $55.00 until 11:59 pm, Thursday, April 30, 2015
Late Fee - $70.00 after April 30 to 11:59 pm, Wednesday, July 15, 2015
Processing fee will be added to all transactions.
Canadian Funds only.
NLAA Competitive Members who enter valid membership # during the registration will receive $5 discount.
Entry fee includes a Tely 10 2015 souvenir T-shirt.
Finishing Medals - All finishers receive a custom Tely 10 finishing medal!

Important Race Day Information
- Men’s & Women’s T-Shirts
For the first time the Tely 10 will offer custom designed sublimated t-shirts. Gender specific sizing will only be guaranteed until midnight on April 30th.
After April 30th, women will receive a size medium and men a size large. [sizing chart]
- Get your name on your race number
Runners that register by April 30th will get their personalized Race Number - after that, it’s numbers only.
- Bus to Start Line - two locations (NEW)
Runners must purchase bus ticket during registration to take the bus to the start area in Paradise. This year we are offering two locations:
1) Confederation Building
2) Johnson Insurance parking lot
Buses will operate on a load and go basis between 6:15 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
Tely 10 participants are reminded that the race uses public roads that are not entirely closed to all vehicular traffic. Race vehicles, local residents, and emergency vehicles may still be on the road.
Race walkers are welcome to register for the race provided that they are able to finish the course in less than three and a half hours.
The finish line is open for three and a half hours but the roads will reopen to traffic earlier.
Walkers must move onto the sidewalks when separated from the larger group of participants.
All participants, including walkers, must obey traffic safety laws and always use their common sense and good judgment.
RNC always has the final authority to implement traffic control!

- Team Competition
Team registration will be done exclusively online only. Team captains (one person per team) can setup and manage the roster. Online Team Registration will open on May 1 and close at midnight on Wednesday, July 15, 2015.
All the finisher medals will be designed so an IMedal can be affixed with your finishing time so your medal will always remind you of your amazing achievement.
The IMedal is a small plate engraved with the participant’s name and finish time that fits neatly into the back of the medal.
- Achievement Certificates
Online digital Certificate of Participation, showing finishing position and time, will be available for download in PDF format approximately 1 month after the race and until next year’s event.

- Registration Confirmation - Participants that have provided us with an e-mail address during the registration process will receive an e-mail confirmation via HTG Sports Services.
Placing and Awards (Gun Time OR Chip Time)
Gun Time is the official time. All race placing awards are based on GUN TIME - the time from the start of the race (gun) to when you cross the finish line as per IAAF, Athletics Canada, USATF, AIMS and International Awards standards. The Chip timing is purely for personal interest to track runner's personal performance. Chip times will be shown in the results.
Due to legal liability, race participants are advised to NOT bring headphones or other music devices with them to the race. Runners should not wear headphones so that they can run safely for themselves and fellow Tely 10 participants!
Baby Joggers, Strollers, Skateboards, Etc.
Baby joggers, strollers, bicycles, in-line skates, skate-boards, and like means of transportation are not permitted in the Tely 10 race for safety reasons. Running with dogs is also not permitted. Violators may be subject to disqualification with no refund on entry fee.

The Tely 10 Mile Road Race is open to wheelchair participants. To be eligible for awards all wheelchair participants must meet the following key criteria:
- Only hand operated, mechanical steering devices are allowed;
- No mechanical gears or levers are allowed to propel the wheelchair.
- Safety Rules
- Assisted wheelchair participants and participants with powered wheelchairs are not eligible for awards and must ensure that their aide is also entered into the race.
- All registered wheelchair participants MUST wear a helmet to participate in the Tely 10.
- It is the responsibility of each wheelchair participant to ensure that no part of their lower limbs can fall from their wheelchair to the ground or road during the event.
- All approved wheelchair participants are required to start with the early designated official wheelchair start on race morning.
All approved pushed or power wheelchair participants will have the option to start at the back of the corrals.
2015 Tely 10 Training Program
A 12-week training program for beginner and intermediate level runners will be posted on this site on Monday, May 4th. The programs are designed by Jason White, Personal Trainer!
